God made us sisters, time & experience made us Best Friends!

It all started with Nicole, my buddy, my go-to for chats and laughs, MOVING OUT! I knew it was good for her but now it left me...the oldest child, an only child once again at my parents house. It was weird... and SO quiet! Then she started dating Mark. Wow! I had never seen her so happy and SO weird! She cracked us up with her stories and her little sayings! I knew Mark was staying for good when he came to a family dinner with ALL of the family. He walked to the backyard like he owned the place (with no shoes, I must add!) and just made himself at home. He introduced himself to those he hadn't yet met and already had everyone laughing before Nicole joined the crowd!
I'll be honest, the day Mark told me he bought a ring I was not the happiest soon-to-be sister-in-law ever. I was jealous and cautious and most of all protective! My little sister, who use to come to me with tears and her "owees", was now a big girl! Getting Engaged! I was honest and told him that "it freaked me out!" I trusted Mark and I definitely trusted Nicole! I just had to let my little Coley-bug go!
I felt bad for my attitude, it probably took me about a month when I realised, now, more then ever my little Coley needed her big sis and her support system! I was honored when Mark started sharing ideas for the proposal. Even though he never asked ME for permission, (haha) it was then that I felt like they both knew I was on board. It didn't take long for me to be excited! Nicole soon asked me to be Maid of Honor! I have a little (exaggeration...) experience with planning weddings from this side. They went on the hunt and came back an engaged couple! I've never seen a sparkle in my sister's eyes like the ones I saw when she showed off a ring that shared the exact same sparkles! My sister knows my love of photography and she let me take some photos of the happy couple! So. Now, from the Big Sis point of view, The Engagement! Here they are... soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Mark Olsen! Gage's FIRST big boy haircut!

This is my nephew Gage. He's had little trims here and there, but this was his first Big boy haircut. He suddenly went from an infant to a toddler! He did so good and he looks so cute with his new faux hawk!
All done!!
This is Gage giving me a high five for being so good!! What a stud!!

Super cute A-line!

This is Devon. I met her on my mission while serving in Hoover, AL. She is my Mission President's daughter. While visiting her parents she got to meet my companion and I over ice cream! While visiting we learned that we live really close to each other in Utah! So, we exchanged information and now I do her and her beautiful daughter's hair! This haircut is one of my very favorites to do and her hair just flows easily with it! Cute, right?!

Waterfall Braid

I love pintrest. I saw a really cute waterfall braid and I decided I need to learn it! So, I looked it up on youtube...It is so simple!! If you know how to french braid, a waterfall braid is just as easy! And so cute! My good friend and fellow stylist at Modifi (Gillian) let me experiment with her hair! Its so cute to do it diagonally and put it in a side pony, but this was by far our favorite! So cute! Try it out!
