I titled this post THANKSgivin' because while serving my mission in Alabama and Mississippi I noticed that the southerners emphasized THANKS in Thanksgiving. I love this and hope to always remember to give thanks for all that I have! This Thanksgiving was a very special one for my family, due to 2 full time missionaries overlapping, this was the first holiday in 3 years that we've had all our family members in attendance! We sure enjoyed it! My dad spent a lot of his time in the garage busily deep frying turkeys with his buddy and our neighbor Gary (with Maxx close by). I believe in our garage we had 4 deep fryers each with a turkey frying. My favorite part of Thanksgiving besides being surrounded by family, is cooking with my mom all morning. Since my mission I have discovered that I love cooking! We each had a REALLY cute apron on, we had Christmas music going, we giggled and talked as we prepared the food! Soon, my Grandma and Aunt arrived with more laughs and more food. I am so Thankful for my family and that we are SO fortunate to live so close and have this holiday season to share together!
